Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice explains how your personal data is processed by our company as the data controller, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

2. Personal Data We Process

  • Identity data: first name, last name
  • Contact data: e-mail address, phone number, company name
  • Job application data: resume (CV), position applied for, education, experience, cover letter
  • Customer satisfaction data: survey responses, comments and suggestions
  • Technical data: information collected automatically via the website (IP address, cookie records)

  • Evaluating job applications and managing human resources processes,
  • Measuring customer satisfaction and improving service quality,
  • Responding to your requests and communicating with you,
  • Fulfilling legal obligations and ensuring website security.

4. Legal Bases

Your personal data is processed based on your explicit consent, the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your data may be shared, solely for the purposes stated above and subject to the conditions set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, with authorised public authorities where legally required and with our service providers (e.g. hosting, e-mail and analytics providers). Due to the use of Google Analytics on our website, certain technical data may be transferred to servers located abroad.

6. Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically, through wholly or partially automated means, via the contact, careers and customer satisfaction survey forms on our website and through cookies.

7. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the processing purpose and, in any case, for the statutory limitation and retention periods stipulated by applicable legislation. Data submitted as part of a job application may be retained for a reasonable period so that it can be assessed for current and potential future vacancies. Once the relevant periods expire or the processing purpose ceases, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your Representations and Responsibility

You represent and warrant that the information you provide through the forms is accurate, up to date and belongs to you, and that you do not share information belonging to third parties or special categories of your personal data (such as health, religious or biometric data) without consent. The Company shall not be held liable for any inaccurate, incomplete or unauthorised information provided by you or for the consequences thereof.

9. Data Security

The Company takes reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure; to the extent no fault is attributable to the Company, it shall not be liable for damages resulting from unlawful acts of third parties.

10. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK (and the GDPR where applicable), you have the right to: learn whether your data is processed and request information; learn the purpose of processing; know the third parties to whom data is transferred; request correction, deletion or destruction; object to results arising from automated analysis; and request compensation for damages.

You may submit requests regarding your rights in writing to info@turmaks.com.tr or to our postal address above. Applications are concluded within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request; a fee set by the Board may apply where the process entails additional cost.

12. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to update this notice at any time to comply with applicable legislation or to reflect changes in its operations. The current version takes effect upon publication on the website.
