The ALKE–TURMAKS Consortium has signed a contract worth approximately EUR 11.5 million with the Municipality of Soroca, Moldova, for a new wastewater treatment plant.
The ALKE–TURMAKS Consortium, formed by ALKE İnşaat and TURMAKS, will build a new wastewater treatment plant for the Municipality of Soroca in northern Moldova. The contract, worth approximately EUR 11.5 million, was signed in August 2026.
The consortium’s scope of work includes:
- Detailed design and construction of the wastewater treatment plant
- Two pumping stations, “Centre” and “South”
- A sewerage collector
- On-site infrastructure and connection to the existing sewerage network
The project is part of the “Water Security and Sanitation in Moldova” programme, supported by the World Bank Group. The programme is implemented by Moldova’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and coordinated by the National Office for Regional and Local Development, with the North Regional Development Agency as a project partner. Works will be supervised by Hydroplan/Apcan.
The project brings together ALKE İnşaat, active in construction since 1955, and TURMAKS, founded in 1997.
